General Convention of the Episcopal Church
As the 81st General Convention of the Episcopal Church rapidly approaches, Carol Moggo, a convention deputy, wanted to share the following resources with everyone. Taking place in Louisville from June 23rd through the 28th, the Convention will offer numerous events, discussions, and worship opportunities.
Here’s a sampler from The Episcopal Church Press Release Digest:
Episcopal Revival, June 22, 7-9 p.m. ET
This churchwide revival will be at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, the night before the start of the 81st General Convention. The event—which will also be livestreamed on The Episcopal Church’s Facebook and YouTube pages and on the General Convention Media Hub—is free and open to the public.
Registration open for legislative committee hearings
The church’s legislative committees are holding online meetings as they work on resolutions for General Convention. All are welcome to register online to observe meetings or testify at open hearings. Those wishing to speak should register at least two business days prior to a hearing.

And a non-convention item of interest:
Archives exhibit chronicles evolving roles of women in The Episcopal Church. From early work to support church missions to the struggle for equal representation in church leadership and ordination, the history of women in the church is told in “For the Extension of the Kingdom: Women of The Episcopal Church,” a comprehensive online exhibit curated and presented by The Archives of The Episcopal Church.
Safe travels, Carol, and we look forward to hearing more about the convention when you return!

Sounds like a terrific event!
